Chocolate Covered Tuxedo PeepsPin It

Tuxedo Peeps Recipe

These adorable little marshmallow bunnies are all dressed up and ready for Easter! Have fun making these with the kids or give them as an entertaining Easter gift!

Method:

  1. Melt your WHITE chocolate using instructions that came with your chocolate.

  2. Hold peep by the ears and push into chocolate. Leave about 1/3 of an inch uncovered (on head end).
  3. Gently tap your hand on the side of the bowl to allow excess chocolate to drip back into the bowl.
  4. Place chocolate covered peep onto a Heavy Weight Dipping Sheet lined tray.
  5. Let the chocolate set-up (harden) by placing the dipping sheet lined tray of chocolate covered peeps on a level shelf in the refrigerator until it is obvious that chocolate is set-up. This can take between 5-10 minutes (Warning: don’t leave the chocolate in the refrigerator for too long. The chocolate can become too cold and will “sweat” or even crack when brought to room temperature.)
  6. Melt your DARK chocolate using instructions that came with your chocolate.

  7. Once the white chocolate has set, hold the peep by its ears and dip into dark or milk chocolate at a 45° angle and dip one side, and then the next side to make the jacket. Return to the refrigerator to set
  8. Melt Drizzle & Design Chocolate according to the instructions that came with your chocolate
  9. After both flavors are set up, use Chocoley Drizzle & Design Dark chocolate to draw a bow tie. Return to refrigerator to set.
  10. Store in an airtight container until ready to use.
